Award winning Owner/Head Chef Emerson Rodriguez and his wife Samantha have given the restaurant a new lease of life. With an elegant country atmosphere it makes it easy to relax and enjoy your intimate dining experience.

Owner/Head Chef of Emerson's at Pokolbin, Emerson Rodriguez has gained extensive experience working in exceptional Hotels, Resorts & Guest House's throughout his sixteen-year career within the Hospitality industry. Emerson has extraordinary experience in a broad range of culinary areas, running fine dining restaurants, large functions and weddings.

For the previous six years (until November of 2009) Emerson worked with the Peppers Hunter Valley Group. As the Executive Chef of Peppers for four years prior to opening his own restaurant, Emerson managed three venues some of which being the busiest in the Hunter Valley.

Emerson has a passion for flavour and this is strongly demonstrated throughout his seasonal menu. Emerson has extreme gratitude for being able to do what he loves and is highly committed to producing consistently delicious food. Emerson showcases some of the Hunter Valley's finest local products and marries these with the local award winning Hunter Valley wines.
