Set atop Hope Estate winery and in the heart of The Hunter Valley Wine Country, Harvest Restaurant overlooks 420 acres of rolling vineyards and a picturesque lake. The stunning view from the enormous deck is the perfect accompaniment to great wine and food.
Head Chef Troy Sams focuses on creating a classic menu showcasing unique, inspired flavours from an array of local produce. Troy believes the key is fresh flavours that are in pure harmony with the wines of Hope Estate.
While you are visiting the restaurant enjoy a walk through the inspiring Great Cask Wall, as featured on the Farmer What's a Wife. The Hall features 59 enormous barrels which are part of the working winery, each filled with 4,500 litres of wine. Take a look at the casks signed by winemakers, former prime ministers and even a king! These casks, along with the warm terracotta flooring and huge vaulted ceilings give the room an atmosphere (an aroma) of baroque splendour.
You can also visit the Hope Estate Cellar Door and see why Hunter Valley Semillon is so famous or taste the best-selling "Cracker" Cabernet Merlot. The professional & friendly staff will be happy to assist you and if you are really lucky you might be able to get a taste of the latest release Virgin Hills, which is also produced by Hope Estate's winemakers.
Hope Estate is not just renowned for great wines and mouth-watering food, but also as a venue which has hosted many international acts including Fleetwood Mac, Neil Diamond and Sting. with Elton John and Dolly Parton coming soon the line-up just keeps getting better.
Where there's wine; There's Hope!
